NFM’s Building Maintenance Technician II is the position for you. Our world class facility offers multiple opportunities for you to put your skills to work. Job Duties: A Day in the Life
• Replace: Lights and ballasts in fluorescent fixtures while upgrading to higher efficiency retrofit.
• Repair: Plumbing fixtures, unclog drains and maintain plumbing systems.
• Preform: Corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of minor problems with mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Collaborate: Maintain routine records of all inspections, maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system, within a computer based management system.
• Support: Maintain mechanical rooms and equipment. Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that’s what we love. Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year building maintenance, custodial, general or labor experience
• Technical or trade school classes in related field
• Basic carpentry skills and electrical knowledge preferred
• Knowledge and observance of safety precautions
• knowledge of how to use and maintain power tools, hand tools and equipment
• Painting skills and plumbing knowledge preferred
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
