1st shift DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a building maintenance
• Responsible for general building maintenance such as changing lights, paint, minor
electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Run errands such as transporting items between building locations and collecting
items at hardware stores.
• Provide ground maintenance such as snow removal on main walkways, maintain trees,
shrubs and flowers.
• Complete custodial cleaning such as cleaning up spills, cleaning of machines and
surrounding area, and keeping work stations clean and organized.
• Supports the production work team including but not limited to, emptying scrap hoppers,
restocking supplies and performing corrective action on safety related projects.
• Directs work of other plant maintenance associates.
COMPETENCIES:
• Cost Consciousness - Develops and implements cost saving measures.
• Quantity - Meets productivity standards.
• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe
conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
A valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving
up to 50 pounds.
Pay ranging from $45-52K/ per year
