The IT Analyst SAP – SD/FI is responsible for overall support of SAP Production/Warehouse application systems. Responsibilities include identifying improvements in business processes, implementation, training, and documentation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a deep understanding of SAP system knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibility:

• Support the Sales & Distribution and Finance Modules for day-to-day business activities and help to implement the new projects.
• Support SD/FICO area while integrating new plants into the PLZ SAP template.
• Work with other resources in standardizing the business process for better SAP utilization.
• Identify improvements in business processes, and work with business users and technical resources to implement the same.
• Translates requirements and functional specifications into technical solutions (specifications, tested code, technical documentation).
• Participate in project blueprint workshops to support requirement gathering, fit gap analysis, and preparation of solution alternatives.
• Assist business users with specific data analytics, identify anomalies in business operations based on data, and report the findings promptly.
• Ability to support business in post-go-live stages of projects.
• Document business processes, and train users on proper usage of the system.
• Advise IT and Sr. Management of any issues along with the proposal to address the same.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of overall business analyst experience in SAP SD or FICO modules in SAP ECC environment.

• Experience and understanding of the following end-to-end processes:
  • Sales and Distribution Master Data (Customers / Pricing).
  • Order Entry / Deliveries and Invoicing
  • Pricing, Commissions and Rebates
  • Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), and Product Costing Controlling area, Cost center account, and Profit Center accounting.
  • Budgeting, P&L, Consolidations.
  • Discrete manufacturing is a plus.
• Well-versed with all integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules like MM, PP, QM, WM, and FICO. Experience in SD/FICO Configuration (SPRO).

• Experience working in a team as well as an independent environment.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization including the ability to explain technical processes and concepts to non-technical user groups.
• Takes initiative and self-motivator. Ability to identify and understand business problems and offer viable solutions to address them.
• Effective presentation skills.

• Ability to establish, build, and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Good documentation skills and ability to create documents for blueprinting, configuration, test cases, defect resolution, and training materials.
