Plumbers Supply Co, the region's ultimate supply and service source in plumbing, heating & piping industry, has an immediate opening for a Delivery Driver at our branch in Ft.

Wayne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and safely delivering complete and on-time orders and requests to Plumbers Supply Co customers.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3 : 30pm (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change).

Other Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :

• Operate Company-Owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to facilitate the delivery of HVAC supplies, materials and any other related products according to customer delivery specifications.
• Load and unload trucks according to ticket / route instructions received for daily schedule and to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer delivery specifications.
• Operates all material handling equipment required to load truck and deliver product.
• Checks and verifies load matches manifest prior to starting route.
• Ensures customer deliveries are complete and accurate.
• Performs all duties to ensure that all appropriate safety and security standards are followed.
• Maintains and protects all property entrusted to driver in excellent conditions.
• Provides outstanding customer service during all shipping related operations.
• Maintains all certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Functions as a contributing member of the warehouse team and other teams, as assigned.

Requirements :

• Must be 21 years old
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have or be able to acquire a DOT medical card
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely. The candidate must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and / or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance.
• Constant pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head and reaching forward.

• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
• Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping / receiving / delivery environment is a plus
