PLK Communities is Hiring a Digital Media Specialist Near Cincinnati, OH

Description:

As a premier owner and manager of residential properties, PLK Communities specializes in the acquisition, redevelopment, and management of high quality apartment communities.

The Digital Media Specialist assists the Director of Marketing & Brand Management (DMBM) in creating and managing all facets of social media, digital advertising and ROI/KPI reporting for PLK and will assist with individual community digital campaigns as needed. Ultimately, this person will promote our company brand and increase our digital footprint by improving engagement across all channels. Attention to detail, commitment to high quality and on-point messaging are paramount to success in this role.

Marketing

Responsible for:

  • creating, scheduling, and launching digital projects across different media platforms that align with company and/or property business goals. Social media, website, blogs, videos…
  • improving the brand's awareness using digital media channels such as GBP, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and any new media or digital tools.
  • creating and launching paid advertising on Meta platform. Measuring impact and adjusting as needed.
  • managing digital advertising budgets per campaign
  • creating content for digital media platforms according to PLK brand and platform guidelines.
  • ensuring brand consistency across all digital media channels.
  • assisting with keeping the online media library up to date.
  • monitoring impact and return on investment of digital marketing campaigns. Once established, monitoring KPIs across all platforms.
  • staying up to date with the latest digital media trends
  • managing end-to-end digital projects ie. website design
  • boosting brand awareness and maintaining a strong online company voice through social media
  • liaising with other marketing team members to strategize messaging and timing and to help devise goals and overall project plan.
  • shooting and editing videos and photography for use in digital campaigns. Experience with Matterport, 3D renderings and/or drones is a plus.
  • conducting all business and ensuring all marketing items are in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.

Training

Responsible for:

  • initial onboarding training for new employees on “how to” and best practices for Social Media platforms. Expectations for frequency, timing, and content. Give general understanding of pertinent reports.

Other Requirements

  • Must be regular and predictable in attendance.
  • Must be able to work in a cooperative, respectful and professional manner with colleagues.
  • Must work professionally, efficiently, and effectively under deadlines and productivity standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required and follow all Company Policies and Rules.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the office/facility.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Digital media specialist or Digital marketing manager
  • Solid knowledge of Canva, Photoshop and/or other media editing software.
  • Experience with visual communication principles.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
