Job Summary:
The National Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing all national client accounts assigned. This includes managing a team to achieve objectives.
Essential Functions:
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
Manage $1M - $15M in revenue of accounts
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
Ensure that both Company and client objectives are being met
Manage work flow of accounts in order to ensure the highest quality service is delivered to clients
Responsible for helping clients recognize opportunities for improvement within their facilities management processes, and report industry trends and news that may be beneficial to their organization
Manage work orders and project development from beginning to end
Review subcontract bids for completeness
Serve as the point of contact for any escalation of high priority issues related to assigned accounts
Participate in site visits, and regularly scheduled face to face meetings
Oversee all Vendor Price Discrepancy Reports within assigned accounts and approve Supplier Vendor discrepancies
Create lien waivers for vendor invoices over $15,000 within account
Make decisions on up to $100,000 on work orders without executive approval
Manage the performance of assigned Project Managers, Asst. Project Managers and Facilities Coordinators, this includes hiring, training and developing, delegating work, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
College degree or equivalent experience required.
5 years’ applicable experience including management experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate via phone and email effectively
Expert knowledge of construction and general trades
Ability to analyze large scope problems and develop and implement solutions
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with general computer skills
Must carry a company cell phone and have after-hours responsibility
Stable work history
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises a team of Facility Coordinators, Project Managers, approximately 8 - 12 employees.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands: Normal office environment. Work schedules vary depending on business needs to accommodate customers. Travel to visit customers and job sites, approximately 6 - 12 times per year.
