Job Title: Project Director
Summary: Responsible for leading a team in anticipating production challenges and proactively driving solutions that enable teams to realize ideas without compromising quality or well-being. Effectively delegates, consistently anticipates. Forms plans of action and achieves buy-in with their director peers. Directs project managers to achieve project milestones, solve production problems, and maintain studio momentum. Continuously seeks ways to improve the PM team's craft and the project's efficiency. Drives progress with a vision and structure for production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for project-focused supervision of a title’s project management team and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include participation in interviewing, hiring, and mentoring employees alongside PM Managers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising and communicating team performance to PM Managers; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
