Qualifications and Hiring Process
Qualifications:
  • Seeking friendly candidates with strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Must be able to handle fast-paced settings and work effectively within diverse teams.
  • Flexible availability required, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Background checks are mandatory.
  • Some roles may necessitate working in various weather conditions.

Part-Time House Manager

Part-Time House Manager

Playhouse on the Square is accepting applications from personable and professional individuals for a part-time House Manager position. The House Manager is responsible for all things Front of House during performances at Playhouse on the Square, The Circuit Playhouse, and Playhouse productions at TheatreWorks@TheSquare and is responsible for overseeing ushers, cleaning and checking all public areas, helping the show start on time, and ensuring patron satisfaction and safety. Hours will vary depending on the performance schedule. The successful candidate must be extremely flexible to work various hours and days on a week-to-week basis. The candidate can expect to work 8 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Essential Duties:

  • Work with volunteers and stage management to keep performances on schedule
  • Greet patrons and handle any complaints or questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversee all public areas during performances and aid in safety and cleaning measures

Requirements:

  • Must have an energetic personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow Playhouse protocol and safety procedures
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Must pass a background check and be vaccinated for COVID-19

Qualifications: High School graduate and two years of customer service experience
