Job Summary
As a Technician for Payment Systems, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our small business clientele by offering tailored merchant services. Your primary responsibility will be to implement, support, and enhance payment processing systems, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance. Your expertise will extend to troubleshooting technical issues, providing ongoing support, and staying abreast of industry trends to recommend upgrades and new technologies that can enhance business operations.
Responsibilities
Implement Payment Solutions: Deploy payment processing systems tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring seamless integration with their existing operations.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level technical support to clients, quickly identifying and resolving issues that arise with payment processing systems to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.
Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation for clients, enabling them to effectively use and manage their payment processing systems.
Client Consultation and Customization: Work directly with clients to understand their payment processing needs, offering personalized advice and customizing solutions to optimize their financial transactions and enhance user experience.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously monitor developments in payment technologies and financial regulations, recommending and implementing upgrades or new solutions to keep the business and its clients at the forefront of payment processing.
Requirements
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent
Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of payment processing systems and platforms, as well as familiarity with programming languages is an asset but not required.
Analytical Skills: A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand complex systems.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Willingness to continuously learn and adaptability to change and eagerness to take on new challenges.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other technical and non-technical staff to deliver optimal payment solutions to clients.
Please note no previous work experience in payment solutions is required and training will be provided for this position.
