Established plastic surgery practice seeking a medical assistant to help provide optimal patient care.

Ideal candidate will possess strong clinical, communicative, and interpersonal skills and have the capability to proficiently carry out practice duties in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting with consultations and counseling patients for pre-op and post-op care.

- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for all plastic surgery procedures and treatments.

- Administrative duties include, scheduling, ordering of medical supplies, flipping and stocking rooms.

- Filling syringes, cleaning/sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures/treatments and understanding of sterile technique.

Requirements:

- Must be able to travel to McLean

- Venipucture/phlebotomy/ blood draws / blood sampling ( for PRP treatments)

- Must have computer skills

- Ability to problem solve in a strong, confident manner

- Excellent bedside manner

- Follows all HIPAA protocols

- Surgical experience is a plus
