Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• Works within their scope of practice to assist in triaging patient calls and messages regarding his/her clinical care. Directs any questions to specific providers as indicated.
• Conducts one on one clinic visits as well as group classes to educate patients on breast reconstruction and other procedures offered.
• Interview patients to obtain and record allergies, chief complaints, medical history and current medications to be presented to the assigned provider.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and appropriate patient information in EMR, updating as needed.
• Assists physicians as needed with in-office medical procedures.
• Provides independent patient care under the direction of the physician including but not limited to, tissue expander fills, drain removals, and post-operative evaluations when the assigned provider(s) has deemed the individual capable to do so.
• Completes patient visits as directed by the physician.
• Provides patient education and coordinating materials as indicated by appointment type including any relevant protocols and/or policies.
• Prepares exam rooms, selects set-up, and maintains medical supplies for all exams and procedures.
• Cleans and sterilizes materials/instruments following universal precautions and cleans soaking trays.
• Checks inventories, including instruments, gowns, and other medical supplies, and notifies the Inventory Coordinator of order requests.
• Provides excellent customer service to all patients.
• Participates in staff development and promotes team cohesiveness.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• - Valid Registered Nurse license in Washington or Multiple State License
• - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in plastic surgery, surgical nursing, or oncology.
• - Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient mobility
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: $38.00 - $51.00 per hour
