Plastic Products is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Seneca, SC

QUALITY MANAGER - Injection Molding

Excellent Opportunity! Plastic Products is a 100% Employee Owned multi plant custom injection plastic molder. We are seeking a Quality Manager for our Seneca, SC facility. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Candidate will be in charge of planning, organizing, and leading the Quality department at this location. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Candidate will work closely with external customers and vendors, and internal departments throughout the facility and company-wide to determine and communicate quality criteria.
  • Candidate will be responsible for training Q.C personnel in proper set up, use, and calibration of instruments, layouts, and first article inspections.
  • Candidate must have working knowledge of Auditor ISO-9001:2015 standard quality systems. Internal Auditor certification or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Must have working knowledge of APQP PPAP process including GR&R, FMEA, and control plans.
  • Must have working knowledge of corrective action system using 8D problem solving.
  • Candidate should have experience in at least one of the following areas: Automotive, Consumer Products, or Appliance Industry.
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to details.
