As a Hot Runner Design Engineer at the Auburn Hills Facility, you will design hot runners and manifold systems for the injection mold industry including modeling, drafting, and bill of material creation. You must show creativity and engineering competence in the design of new or non-similar hot runners with little supervision. Knowledge of thermodynamics, plastics, injection molding, electrical, machining, and stress analysis is an asset to this position.

Minimum requirements include an associate degree or equivalent experience preferably Mechanical Engineering and 1 to 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design. Expertise in 3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS Preferred) is a requirement to maintain progressive growth. Injection mold design, Manifold design, and/or mold making experience madatory. Excellent verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail along with time management skills are desired.
