As a Growth Manager focused on current client upsell and cross-sell, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion and success of our company by implementing strategies that lead to sustained growth and enhanced brand awareness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, execute initiatives, and analyze results to optimize our growth efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing, data analysis, and customer behavior to make informed decisions that positively impact our business metrics.
This is a hybrid role working 2x per week in one of our office locations (Irvine, CA | Phoenix, AZ | Atlanta, GA | Akron, OH) JOB DUTIES Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Identify key areas for growth, such as customer segments, and product offerings.
Customer Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition through various channels, such as email, in-app, digital marketing, partnerships, content marketing, and social media. Optimize campaigns to grow existing customer accounts.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize website, login pages, app, and campaign performance. Use data-driven insights to make iterative improvements to conversion rates and user experience.
User Lifecycle Management: Develop strategies to engage, retain, and grow existing customers. Implement techniques such as email marketing, personalized recommendations, and loyalty programs to enhance customer lifetime value.
Product Optimization: Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for product improvements that align with customer needs and preferences. Ensure that the product experience supports growth objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product, design, and engineering teams to align growth strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Use insights to shape growth strategies and tactics.
Experimentation: Develop and manage a culture of experimentation by proposing and implementing innovative ideas to test and validate hypotheses.
Reporting and Communication: Regularly report on growth metrics, initiatives, and progress to stakeholders and leadership. Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to drive informed decisions.
Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a growth-focused role, preferably in a tech startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong copy-writing skills to write attention grabbing email and social campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experience conducting experiments to optimize performance.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
- Experience with customer segmentation, targeting, and personalized marketing approaches.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Marketo, Salesforce, or similar), marketing automation tools, and customer journey mapping.
