Placers is seeking a Weld Shop Supervisor for our client site located in Aston, PA. The weld shop supervisor will work in conjunction with our other weld supervisor to supervise a team of welders, prototype mechanics, and utility workers while working with all levels within the company to coordinate and align efforts to meet our customers’ needs.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay: $70k-$90k/year

What you need to succeed:

• 3 years of manufacturing management experience
• 5 years of hands-on welding experience
• 7-10 years of overall manufacturing experience
• Strong computer and blueprint reading skills
• A strong background in metal fabrication including proficiency in mig and tig welding as well as advanced fitting experience, experience with aluminum and steel welding per AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards, ERP/MRP systems (specifically INFOR Visual) are pluses
