Position: Squadron Stan/Eval Administrative Technician

Department: Operations

Summary:

PKL Services Inc. is contracted to maintain and operate Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG and United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E aircraft and equipment assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing located at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. PKL employees at this site are subject to a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) regarding employment terms and work rules.

The Squadron Stan/Eval Administrative Technician is responsible for providing oversight, office continuity, technical guidance, expertise, interpret instructions/ directives, and develop operating procedures, with respect to squadron aircrew and publications.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Shall update data in Patriot Excalibur (PEX), or future Government-mandated equivalent systems, as well as locally developed computer database/tracking systems. The contractor will Interface with Aviation Resource Management personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management Systems (ARMS) (or future equivalent systems to ARMS), as required.
  • Will coordinate with the training officer to review and update student/permanent party records, folders, and grade books per the applicable AFIs/AFMANs, associated MAJCOM supplements, and locally developed guidance.
  • Will conduct monthly reviews and tracking of those aircrews entering the first month of evaluation eligibility period. Will coordinate with the scheduling office to ensure individuals are scheduled for required evaluations.
  • Shall notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone, or in person. Maintain accountability, currency, and control of aircrew requisite testing materials. Perform testing administrator duties for the unit.
  • Interpret AFIs/AFMANs and other publications and provide guidance to squadron assigned personnel on matters pertaining to Stan/Eval.
  • Work closely with the squadron publications officers to maintain current aircrew flight publications.
  • Support the government in the operation of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program by complying with Stan/Eval and RSAF publications officer guidance and direction regarding maintenance of current software and updating publications on the device(s).
  • Maintain Stan/Eval files in accordance with USAF file system management guidance.
  • Will generate the following deliverables (subject to change):
    • Monthly Evaluation and prerequisite data reports.
    • AF Form 8, Certificate of Aircrew Qualification.
    • AF Form 942, Record of Aircrew Qualification.
  • Perform duties as the Squadron Aviation Resource Management as required.
  • All other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.

Required educational/skills background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S.).
  • Four (4) years’ previous experience in Squadron Resource Management.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a “Secret” security clearance.
  • Minimum two 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Physical Demands:

This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions. Normal color/depth perception and no record of emotional instability are required.

Work Environment (ADA):

May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing thru a hazardous area.
