Overview:

• Full time – on site positions in Geismer (Baton Rouge) LA
• Must have Working Inspection experience and/or PM experience.
• Must have Fireproofing inspection experience.

This position will oversee assigned work according to the plans and schedules, will note any quality control deviations in the work performed, and provide comprehensive solutions and inputs to any improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure knowledge of the project scope and requirements.
• Prepare project-specific scopes of work.
• Conduct daily field inspections as required; ensure contractor compliance and provide technical support for client requests.

Qualifications:

• Successful candidates will have at least 5 yrs. of Industrial QA/QC experience involving Painting, Industrial Fireproofing and/or Specialized Coatings NACE CIP Level 2 or equivalent (Minimum requirement)
• Previous working experience in Plants / Refineries preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and implement quality systems and specifications.
• Proven record of attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of QA/QC requirements for final documentation.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be within reasonable distance of our facility in Geismer (Baton Rouge) LA. - (No relocation package offered)

Additional:

• Competent in Use and Calibration of Day-to-Day Inspection Equipment
• Working Knowledge of Fireproofing and Surface Preparation Standards

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work outside (including during inclement weather).
• Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain.
• The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required.
• This includes a hard hat, safety glasses, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
