Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at PJ's Coffee Katy Fort Bend Location.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, granitas, etc.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient in basic math for cash handling transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Familiarity with using a cash register or POS system is a plus
- Must be able to work well in a team environment

Pay: $9.50 - $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
