• Welcoming: Greet each guest as they come through the door. Make them feel welcome, comfortable, and invited.
• Phone: Check messages for reservations daily. Follow up with guests to confirm reservations. Answer the phone by the third ring in a cheerful/professional manner – being excited to take the call.
• Guests: Manage all the reservations and walk-in guests, seat appropriately. Manage the waiting list as necessary. Knowledge of Open Table system.
• Helping with service: Monitor the dining room floor during service. Make sure service is running smoothly – step in and assist the FOH staff as needed.
• Attitude: Must have a “can-do” attitude. Be willing to help wherever and whenever needed. Teamwork is a must. Never say that’s not my job. Be friendly and outgoing.
• Professional: Must be well groomed, clean, and be in a clean, well-kept uniform each shift. Show up ready to work, on time, every time.
