Want to see how far your pizza-making skills can take you? We're looking for pizza making pros- passionate skilled pizzaiolos with restaurant prep experience interested in taking their skills to the next level.

We're the world's first pizza museum & restaurant. Our pizza wins awards & is on numerous Best of Philly & national lists. With us, you'll build on your current skills to make some of the some of the most talked about pizza in Philly!

After an initial apprenticeship period where you'll demonstrate you've got our pizza-making down pat, you'll become a Pizza Brain Pizza Maker with an opportunity to grow into creative & mentorship roles earning up to $24/hour (including tips).

Availability to work 10AM -7PM, Noon-8PM or 1PM-9PM shifts weekdays AND weekends is required.

COMPENSATION:

This position is tipped. With tips apprentices earn around $15/hour ($12.50/hour base tips).

You'll earn up to $20.00 /hour (including increased base hourly tips) as you progress to becoming a master pie maker!

Our most skilled pie makers earn up to $24.00/hour including tips.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a team with your colleagues to ensure all operations of store run at maximum efficiency
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation as needed.
• Stretch, toss and top pies to order and/or to recipe
• Coordinate with BOH & FOH to facilitate smooth and efficient store operations
• Maintain/clean station and handle/store food in a food safe manner
• Prep stock ingredient inventory as needed
• Learn & master iPad-based POS system
• Facilitate customer payments as needed at FOH
• Maintain professionalism at all times, both with customers fellow staff

Qualifications:

• Good communications skills (with staff customers)
• Cooking experience and/or Back of the House experience preferred
• Able to meet all scheduling commitments, including weekend availability
• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
• Strong attention to detail and customer service
• Ability to lift 50lbs
