Pivot North Consulting is Hiring an Assistant Coordinator Near Boise, ID

Position Overview:
The Assistant Coordinator/Demo Events Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and evaluating sampling events to align with organizational objectives. This position requires exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to event management.

Responsibilities:

Demo Events Coordinator:

  • Plan and execute engaging demo events to promote our products and drive sales.
  • Prepare Demo Stations and Supplies in advance of event dates.
  • Maintain and safeguard demo station equipment and supplies to preserve display quality and reduce costs.
  • Conduct inventory checks of demo station equipment and supplies after each event to ensure readiness for future events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including setup, teardown, and product sampling.
  • Interact with customers to provide product information and enhance brand awareness.
  • Manage cash and coupons to ensure proper usage, tracking, and accountability, including applying numbering stamps and initials to assigned coupons.
  • Promptly report hours for event staff following events.
  • Coordinate replacements for no-show staff on event days.
  • Scheduling, coordinating and supervising Demo Event Team Members who are running sampling event stations
  • While on-site for demo events:
  • Monitor temp labor to ensure they meet expected standards for demo events, including engaging with customers and motivating consumers to purchase our products.
  • Capture photos of each live station 2 to 3 times throughout the event day and submit to the assigned Trello board (Temp labor can be instructed to send these photos, but the Events Coordinator confirms the photos were submitted timely and accurately).
  • Ensure in-store shelves are stocked during live events.
  • Reset retailer’s stock by the end of each event day.
  • Report OSA (Out of Stock Avoidance) inventory counts to your direct Supervisor.
  • Perform Sampling Event Stations as needed to support the demo schedule.
  • Coordinate with Team Members to ensure flawless execution of Demo Events on behalf of our food brand clients and Retail partners.
  • Follow policies and procedures in the execution of tasks and while interfacing with customers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance when interacting with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food products and retail environments is advantageous.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
