Nature and Scope: The Digital Printer will be responsible for and accountable to all facets of digital print production. This includes all decorations that are applied with heat print machines (patches, vinyl, transfers etc). The Digital Printer will hold primary responsibility for the ordering or production process for all digital orders regardless of product type.

The Digital Printer will report directly to the Art Director with a dotted line to the Plant Manager.

Purpose: The Digital Printer is an integral part of the PPH print team. They work independently most days and produce a variety of high-quality garments ranging from hats, to vests to jackets. The digital department produces it own body of work and satisfies the segment of our print portfolio which requires special art or application.

Qualifications: Heat print experience is ideal but will train the right personality who suits the role. Must have reliable transportation. The ability to perform physical job duties which include the ability to lift 40 lbs., stand for the duration of the shift, and operate in a high paced warehouse / production environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work 1-1 with the Art Director and Plant Manager on communication job expectations, project timelines, special instructions, and quality control issues
• Ensure that time and quality goals are met
• Order, track and schedule all digital heat print materials
• Work with digital vendors to upload art, get customer approvals, order product, track product and schedule accordingly
• Design, print, cut and weed all vinyl jobs
• Order departmental supplies
• Establish and maintain par levels
• Mechanical maintenance
• Working with Quality Director on all major mechanical maintenance
• Working with Art Director to schedule weekly time for cleaning and maintenance of machinery

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
