Pittsburgh Print House is Hiring a Receiving Specialist Near Pittsburgh, PA

NATURE & SCOPE:

The Receiving Specialist holds ownership of all raw materials in the warehouse. The scope of the work begins with receiving raw materials from an inbound shipping manifest and ends with laying out all orders according to process for each of the production departments. The Receiving Specialist serves as the point person for all inbound and pre-production material issues including receiving and preparing all goods for production. The Receiving Specialist reports to the Warehouse Manager.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A SUCCESSFUL RECEIVING SPECIALIST:

Possessing strong attention to details and high levels of communication skills are vital characteristics of a successful Receiving Specialist. They take pride in managing all the moving pieces of incoming goods and materials. The Receiving Specialist is a team player and exercises an ability to work independently on daily workflow tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strategic thinker and highly organized individual with the ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines while upholding Pittsburgh Print House standards.
  • Can perform repetitive tasks within a structured daily workflow.
  • Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Basic math and computer skills are essentials.
  • Ability to operate box trucks, large vans, hand dollies and electric pallet jacks.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must want to work in a warehouse environment.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
