Job Description:

Parts Specialist/Service writer will work with supervisors and managers to ensure work orders are opened in a timely manner so mechanics can update work orders faster and apply parts used as soon as they leave the parts room. Maintain stock levels and get approval to re-order stock parts. Generate purchase orders as necessary and apply them to the correct work orders. Notify employees when parts are delivered so repairs can begin on designated equipment. Maintain a clean and organized parts room so parts can be found and delivered to mechanics in a timely manner. Employee will strictly adhere to schedule so they can be contacted by managers, supervisors, and mechanics quickly and efficiently.

Requirements:

- Opening work orders for equipment designated by supervisors and managers

- Review work orders for accuracy before sending to supervisors for completion

- Generating purchase orders with approval from supervisors and managers

- Receiving incoming parts and entering them into inventory in a timely manner.

- Communicate with supervisors and mechanics on status of ordered parts

- Applying parts used to appropriate work orders

- Maintain accurate stock of parts available and re-order when necessary

- Maintain clean and organized parts room

- Update Samsara as needed

- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally in English.

- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi task with ease

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
