What does a great Network Engineer do?
The Network Engineer successfully oversees, manages, and coordinates network policy. The Network Engineer assists in the configuration and troubleshooting of F5/Nginx load balancers. Consistently manages balancing network and application requirements. The Network Engineer effectively collaborates and coordinates with internal support teams and provides timely reports to the management.
How you will provide meaningful contributions:

• Must configure and maintain F5/Nginx Load Balancers and have good knowledge of WAN/LAN network management and monitoring.
• Look into the daily administration of the network load balancer environment.
• Keep track of network performance, respond to problems, and deploy solutions.
• Collaborate with network and engineering teams regarding load balancing infrastructure for cloud and data center environments.
• Must play an active role in designing complex load balancing solutions.
• Be responsive and decisive in adjusting architecture as customer requirements and technology evolves.
• Assist in completing complex assignments by using network-related processes and procedures.
• Ensure network interoperability and propose load balancing infrastructure.
• Maintains relationships with other teams within the organization and provides fourth load balancing troubleshooting and support.
• Thorough and demonstrable understanding of network operating systems, network devices, and networking protocols
• Must understand network architecture analysis and engineering implementation.
• Ability to consistently investigate network administration to diagnose and resolve network problems.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, communications engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years minimum experience in Systems Application Delivery.
• Minimum IT experience 3-6 years.
• 5 years of operational / hands-on experience.
• Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Required to hold a current certification of F5-CTS or F5-CSE or have working experience with F5 BIG IP.
• Experience configuring and maintaining F5/Nginx Load Balancers and have good knowledge of WAN/LAN network management and monitoring.
• In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite (firewalling, switching, routing and load balancing).
• Good understanding of virtualization as well as technologies like VLAN, VxLAN, VRF, Network Load Balancing, etc.
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, Java, Perl).
• Expert knowledge of SSL Certificate Management.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and terminology.
• Expert knowledge of subnetting, Load Balancing, VIPs, and Irules.
• High Level understanding of Hyperscale's, Cloud computing, SaaS, & hosted systems.
• Expert abilities in developing and documenting network designs and concepts.
• Experience Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast paced and multicultural organization.
• Flexibility to work on a schedule that is convenient for our customers.
• ITIL foundation knowledge.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Strong knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Preferred to hold a current certification from any of the following list: CCNA, CCNP, CCISP.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000.
