SUMMARY

The Client Accounting Services Associate is responsible for working with peers, supervisors, and management to process accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements and accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Process and maintain accurate records
  • Record day to day financial transactions
  • Assist in preparing annual 1099 forms

OTHER DUTIES

  • Assist with department projects
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Visit client sites as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem solve

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or Bookkeeping Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum one year of bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the financial/professional services industry.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, PDF, and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) required.
  • Previous experience time and billing software preferred.
  • Ability to learn the use of additional software packages as needed by the firm.
  • Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment.

Certificates, Licenses

  • Valid drivers license, acceptable driving record, adequate insurance

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is constantly required to sit and use a computer and keyboard. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, use the telephone and talk or hear. The employee is often required to stand, walk, and stoop or bend. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical corporate office environment. Frequent incoming telephone calls, printers, scanners, and copiers as well as clients contribute to a noise level of average to above-average. Frequent interruptions may occur.

Wage Transparency

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $24.00-$33.00/hour (annualized $73,840.00 and $79,040.00 per year). Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
