Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Embedded Systems Test Software Engineers to join the Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC) team in Kent, Washington. The software engineers will be taking existing prototype flight software and implementing these core software capabilities into the formal GNC flight software product.

The team will be working on a combination of software system engineering (producing software requirements, verification plans,etc.) and software development (taking prototype software in the Julia language) and designing / developing the operational flight software in embedded systems (C ) through implementation. The Test Engineers will be responsible for the formal software qualification for the final embedded systems product. These test engineers will be performing regression testing in a live environment and overseeing the deployment process.

Experience needed:

o Experience with Test plans for embedded systems

• unit testing
• regression testing
• working with the SW but deploying 
• formal SW qualification
• requirement verification

o Coding experience:

• Experience with Julia or MATLAB and/or Python
• Experience with Implementation of requirements
• Experience with C development and embedded systems

These positions are in Kent, WA with some hybrid work a few days a week. You must be able to commute to Kent on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Candidates with an active security clearance are preferred.
