Client Relationship Manager

AVAILABLE POSITION: CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

PV Financial Group is seeking a local, community-minded and driven individual to join our growing financial planning firm.
This position provides exceptional customer service to the firm’s clients to facilitate engagement and overall satisfaction with the organization. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships with the goal of retaining existing customers and driving firm growth.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Prep advisor for client meetings and greet clients upon arrival to the office.
  • Periodically meet with clients to complete paperwork.
  • Assist in post-meeting follow-up.
  • Track pending paperwork and outstanding transactions to ensure all business is completed within service standards. Update the advisor and/or your manager as needed until all tasks are complete.
  • Maintain updated client contact records using CRM system. Use CRM system efficiently to schedule client meetings, track client personal information and interests.
  • First point of contact for client service issues, including incoming phone calls and emails. Handle servicing within capacity and transfer to advisor, when required.
  • Anticipate advisor needs and handle them proactively.
  • Manage advisor’s calendar. Proactively schedule meetings ensuring all clients are seen annually, at a minimum.
  • Follow up with referrals and prospects.
  • Provide office and phone coverage in the absence of receptionist and/or Relationship Management team members.
  • Maintain front-end lobby and conference rooms; keep neat and orderly at all times.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Periodically assist with marketing-related tasks as directed by your manager.
  • Occasionally help with tasks outside of the traditional Relationship Manager role, when needed.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • Experience in an administrative role or in the finance industry, a plus.
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, a plus.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and operate under tight deadlines; Sophisticated organizational and time management skills.
  • A self-starter who can work independently, think conceptually and attend to details.
  • An amazing attitude and extraordinary customer service skills.
  • Enjoy interacting with people face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel) and CRM

Operations Support Specialist

PV Financial Group is seeking a local, community-minded and driven individual to join our growing financial planning firm.
This position provides exceptional customer service to the firm’s clients to facilitate engagement and overall satisfaction with the organization. This individual will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations for the firm and providing support necessary for delivering first-rate service and guidance to our clients.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for client meetings (Create Balance Sheet, generate reports, provide supporting documents, prepare necessary forms and disclosures, review prior client meeting notes).
  • Assist with creation of Executive Planning Summary and implementation of plan.
  • Input updated client financial information and values into appropriate financial planning software.
  • Complete all forms correctly and submit in a timely manner.
  • Open new accounts.
  • Handle money movement (check deposits, distribution requests, PIPs, SWPs)
  • Maintain client cost basis information.
  • Run and maintain Required Minimum Distributions lists.
  • Periodically meet with clients to complete paperwork; ensure all required forms are completed fully and accurately.
  • Conduct research on Morningstar® or COMMunityLink® as directed by the advisor.
  • Place trades through Commonwealth at advisor’s direction, if properly licensed.
  • Follow up on outstanding transactions and pending paperwork with Commonwealth (e.g., transfers).
  • Maintain appropriate turnaround time on incoming items (e.g., 24 hours for checks).
  • Draft letters, as needed.
  • Prepare and send outgoing mail.
  • Regularly review Commonwealth news items, technology updates, and e-mail communications.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • BA or BS preferred
  • One to two years of experience in the investment/insurance/finance industry
  • FINRA Series 7 registration along with FINRA Series 63; or ability to obtain registrations within 1 year
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to fill out forms completely and accurately
  • Ability to follow directions exactly
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel). Experience with CRM, Wealthscape℠, and Morningstar® a plus
