Job Duties: Build and improve the platforms and products related to running big data workflows. Work closely with the privacy team, refine and improve data accessing policies in the workflow system to make our user data more secure. Drive user productivity and velocity improvements for big data workflow systems. Collaborate closely with the internal workflow user community on business and technical problems and provide thought leadership in building the solution. Identify changing business requirements and technical challenges. Incorporate them into the team's strategy and roadmap. Participate and contribute to the airflow open-source community. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Java; (3) RESTful APIs; (4) Distributed System; (5) Object-Oriented Design; (6) Design Processing Pipeline; (7) JSON; and (8) Database. Telecommuting is permitted. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
Salary: $214,200.00 - $219,063.00 per annum.
