Job Description:

• The Design Program Coordinator will focus on supporting the Messenger Design team.
• The ideal candidate is highly organized with experience managing purchasing requests, meeting deadlines, establishing timelines, anticipating project issues and resolving them.
• This role requires excellent communication skills, an ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
• A highly organized approach and consistent delivery is mandatory.
• Candidate will work within our Design Program Manager team and will support the team on ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Support DPMs on “critical projects” and “key programs”.
• Support the operations of the design team's onboarding program including tracking new starts, ensuring clear communication of our process with owners, and flawlessly executing on our onboarding checklist.
• Support Messenger Design Operations
• Coordinate Design Reviews and Working Sessions. This includes managing calendars, scheduling, gathering agenda topics, taking notes, and posting next steps.
• Help organize and schedule collaborative Design Critiques across multiple areas of the business.
• Manage design sprint calendar(s) and the tracking of sprints across Messenger Design.
• Assist in maintaining ongoing design programs like bug bashes and dogfooding sessions.
• Ensuring new team members are added to the appropriate meetings and workspaces
• Assisting team level coordination of event planning culture building activities
• Team communication & knowledge sharing, including maintaining team documentation, wikis, and project trackers
• Additional Design Program Manager support – work with DPMs on ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working in ambiguity and ability to drive clarity.
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to multitask and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment;
• Extreme attention to detail
• Positive attitude and dependably delivers on requests
• 2 plus years experience working in a similar capacity required;
• Track record of being detail oriented, willing to wear multiple hats, identifying areas for improvement/support and delivering results in a highly organized manner
• Bachelor's degree desired.

Pay Range: $48/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
