Pinnacle Staffing Group has partnered with a local plastic molding company, and we are looking for a competent machine operator with the ability to troubleshoot the machines in the event minor repairs are needed. The ideal candidate will be hard-working with 3-4 years warehouse experience OR experience dealing with heavy industrial machinery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Know the different material used

· Know how to do a color check

· Know and follow all safety rules

· Knows where all safety guards are and their purpose

· Check cycle time

· Clean and lubricate molds

· Check drop-out area for parts missing

· Respond to Inspector Packer’s pages

· Keep aisle free of debris and hold Inspector Packers, Material Handler. Floater, and Cleaners accountable for their part

AT Six (6) Months should be able to:

· Fill out Trouble Shooting Guides

· Fill out shift change report at beginning of shift

· Maintain full cavitation and standard cycle times

· Know and follow all Safety Rules

· Work with QA on quality issues

· Start-up and shut-down machines. (completing the safety test, written and hands on)

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Have a good work & attendance record

· Possess mechanical aptitude

· Able to work extended shifts and weekends as necessary

· Have good verbal & written communication skills

· Possess good math & computer skills

· Have a good safety record

· Problem solving skills

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly

· Ability to climb up and down ladders

· Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop and stretch regularly

· Must be able to differentiate color
