The Manager Andrology/Endocrinology position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

We are seeking a Manager Andrology/Endocrinology to join our dedicated team at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility. This is a Full-time position, working Monday - Thursday 7:00am- 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am-3:00pm (but must be flexible). Holidays are required as needed. Candidate will be required to cover satellite locations with occasional travel to Westerville, OH.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Oversee laboratory personnel, including scheduling of work hours and monitoring performance of laboratory procedures conducted by the andrology technologists (including all competency evaluations, yearly performance reviews, and oversight of the proficiency testing program).
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of all laboratory equipment.
  • Participate in laboratory operations and laboratory services including the following:
  • Preparation and aliquoting of necessary media
  • Sperm prep for IUI and/or IVF
  • Semen analysis with strict morphology
  • Sperm cryopreservation, storage, and thawing
  • Epidymal/Testicular sperm processing for IVF
  • Patient Interaction
  • Hiring/Teaching/Training of new personnel
  • Perform research
  • Schedule all routine equipment preventative maintenance and servicing
  • Recording and reporting laboratory results
  • Maintenance and operation of the TOSOH machine
  • Use of EMR system for receiving orders and reporting results
  • QC of media, instruments and other laboratory materials.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Medical Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years experience performing andrology services at a human infertility clinic. Previous human IVF and Andrology experience desired. Will train when necessary. AAB Technical Supervisor (TS) Certification in Andrology preferable but will accept under the expectation that the individual achieves certification as soon as possible.
  • Financial / Budgetary knowledge.
  • General knowledge and operation of laboratory equipment. Exhibits no fear of technology or equipment that is malfunctioning or in need of repair.
  • Extensive computer literacy. Includes intermediate to advanced knowledge of all of the following: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Understanding of the Internet and e-mail is necessary.
  • Strong grasp of computer network setup and operation, including EMR systems. Installation of computer programs and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Microscope maintenance (alignment of optics and cleaning of objectives).
  • Operation of backup generator unit serving vital instrumentation within laboratory.
  • Knowledge, operation and creation of effective laboratory alarm systems (e.g. LN2 alarms)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues (equipment and otherwise) that may arise during the routine performance of andrology and/or endocrine procedures.
  • Must complete any certification examinations within an appropriate timeframe required by accrediting bodies.
  • Must supply copies of degrees, certifications, training and transcripts for personnel files.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$47,840 - $74,880 Annually

The compensation range for this position is between $47,840 and $74,880 per year. Final salary offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
