We are looking for a People & Culture/HR Director for our new Family Entertainment
Center to oversee the human resources part of our operation. If you are seeking an

Our People & Culture/HR Director’s responsibilities will be a broad spectrum from
determining overall strategy for management and team members from compensation,
benefits, and development opportunities to hiring, supporting training, creating policies
and practices, and understanding and application of all local, county, regional, state,
and federal labor laws. We need a thoughtful, open-minded, and open-hearted leader
who can be a confident decision-maker who is equally capable of rolling up their

Responsibilities
Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics
Oversee recruitment, hiring and training practices and objectives
Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for
performance evaluation, staffing, training, and development etc.
Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
Serve as the point of contact for employment relations
Develop site plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits,
health, and safety etc.
Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
Pre-opening Support: Assists in all aspects of as required for a successful
Labor and Benefits Budgeting: Works with Site Leadership to develop budgets
and make recommendations specific to compensation and benefits
Labor Relations: Conduit for labor resources, managers, and team members
Policy, Procedures, Protocols, and Processes: Develop and oversee compliance
of all site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), health and safety regulations,
federal, state and local regulations, and team members deliver the highest level
of service, quality and guest experience and services
Executes directives from Senior Leadership
Management: Works with, encourages and supports all site leadership including
mentoring, coaching, and career development
Employees: Work with and supports all team members to encourage productivity
and providing opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and growth Safe Environment: Ensures all staff follows health and safety regulations as well
as internal directives
Backs up on-site with Guest Services as required
Operate as Manager on Duty when assigned
Other duties as assigned
Essential skills
Proven work experience as a People & Culture and/or HR Director or within a
similar role in attraction, entertainment, restaurant, hospitality, or related
experience
Team Leadership, Management and Development
Compensation and Benefit experience
Recruitment, hiring, and training experience
Onboarding experience
Understanding of industry-relevant laws
Motivational skills
Strong Verbal, Written, and Tactile Communication including active listening skills
Team Player
Good analytical/critical thinking
Solution-Oriented
Site management best practices
Knowledge of software and office programs
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Adult Child Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is a plus
Required Qualifications
Preferred prior 2 years experience as a Culture & People Director, HR Director,
or role with relevant responsibilities
Working knowledge of local, county, state, and federal employment legislation
and regulations
Understanding of compensation and benefit best practices
Understanding of payroll systems
Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best
practices
Business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field or
combination of experience and education; MSc/MA in human resources will be a
plus

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule which includes weekdays, weekends,
