Pinnacle Bank / Bank of Colorado is Hiring a LOAN ASSISTANT II Near Greenwood, CO

Description/Job Summary

This position serves as a support to the loan department and has an advanced level of loan training and understanding. This position can also serve as a Regional Loan Assistant trainer.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Processes loans, which include: preparation work, computer input, review for accuracy, and follow-up.
  • May assist with loan closings.
  • Prepare reports for management.
  • May assists with preparation of loans for loan committee, as needed.
  • Establishes, maintains, and revises filing and record keeping articles, records, and other documents.
  • Assists with customers in reference to loan questions or account questions.
  • Assists will bill paying and GL entries.
  • Exception tracking and review files for outstanding information.
  • Loan Non-Post Review and Correction.
  • Processes payments and reverse/correct payments (if needed).
  • Reviews loans in process to ensure they balance.
  • Processes paid loans, release collateral, as needed.
  • Book and complete loan process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to create an organized efficient work environment without supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to function as a team player.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience with computer software and bookkeeping preferred.
  • Previous loan processing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of loan processes and basic accounting.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.

Required Education

High School diploma or equivalent experience in banking.
