Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in clinical research activities and contribute to program development
- Offer support and guidance to patients and families facing challenging situations
Skills:
- Experience working in hospital or clinical settings
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and documentation
- Strong understanding of systems related to patient care
- Knowledge of mental health counseling techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Ability to conduct group therapy sessions effectively
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Oregon.
- Experience as a social worker in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
