PURPOSE:
The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance and Accounting and will be responsible for managing the budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes that support the Company's financial health and business strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

• Develop and maintain financial models to anticipate future financial performance
• Identify key performance drivers and integrate these into the financial reporting
• Support the monthly close process through close partnership with the accounting team
• Maintain restaurant-level reporting such as weekly P&Ls, KPI models, and other supplemental financial materials
• Generate monthly performance and forecast reviews, board and investor meeting presentations, and other financial review presentations
• Create insightful analysis and commentary on the Actual financial performance of the business
• Develop variance and trend analysis to help the Company improve financial performance
• Create what-if-analyses to assess the impact of business opportunities on our long-term goals, providing insightful decision bases for senior management
• Work directly with the Executive team on ad hoc company initiatives
• Lead the development of a practical yet ambitious annual budget, suggesting targets, and adhering to company requirements and goals
• Drive the development and optimization of robust reporting formats
• Proactively identify and pursue actionable opportunities to improve the business
• Other finance and administrative duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required
• Proficiency with Power Query and Power Pivot
• A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a highly analytical and strategic role
• Multi-location retail or food and beverage industry experience is preferred
• A strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• The ability to transform raw data into insights for the Company
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP in a restaurant business preferred
