Description: High end portrait studio in NW Indiana is hiring a staff photographer. Experience is not required but is a plus, especially experience with working with dogs/cats for our pet sessions. This is a part time position (starting at approximately 1 -2 days/week and will increase from there). Pay is competitive and paid hourly. Applicants are not to own, operate, or work for another photography studio.
The ideal candidate:
*Committed to work on days scheduled, which includes weekend dates
*Loves kids, is patient and considerate
*Has experience working for a luxury brand
*Is tech savvy
*Has proficiency in Lightroom (not required but is a big plus)
*Is well spoken *Can quickly and easily build rapport with anyone
*Can take direction and is trainable
*Can stay patient and calm (with people, tech issues etc)
*Willing to go above and beyond
*Is loyal to a company
*Is always on time
Tasks include:
*Building rapport with clients
*Photographing clients in our specific style and posing *Preparing images for viewing
*Other tasks as needed
Additional Information: We are not looking to hire someone who owns or wants to own their own photography business. A concrete non-compete will be signed for the hired photographer. Equipment is owned by the studio and all training will be provided. Our work is very specific, deliberate, and consistent. Artistic vision remains with the studio owner.
