Pinecrest Cadence is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of High School Social Studies Teacher.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Valid Nevada Teaching License with appropriate endorsement
• Bachelor's Degree
• Possesses the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and fingerprinting.

• Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships with teenagers, and the capability to promote a positive culture and learning environment.
• Experience in the classroom
• Understands and implements, with documented evidence, the Nevada Academic Content Standards
• Experience working with English language learners
• Experience with significant positive outcomes as a leader in the classroom
• Strongly committed to improving academic outcomes for all students
• Experience working with special student populations, including students with developmental disabilities and GATE students
• Demonstrates proficiency in communication, both oral and written, among parents, students, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Demonstrates proficiency in technology integration
• Familiarity with Infinite Campus
• Experience working with educational technology platforms such as Google Drive, Edmodo, Seesaw, etc
• Demonstrates high-quality, positive classroom management
• Inspires trust and models high standards of integrity
• Is a “team player” who inspires others by example
