Pine Creek Apartments is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Costa Mesa, CA
Pine Creek Apartments is looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our 242-unit apartment complex. We are privately owned and managed. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as work orders, apartment turnovers, repair and replace appliances, painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the apartments and common areas in the best possible condition. Medical, dental, and vision insurance included. Paid holidays and vacation time after 1 year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.
- Complete work orders/service requests.
- Perform cleaning duties.
- After 90-day probation/training required to go on call every-other week with extra compensation. Must live within 15-20 minutes of the property with an option to live on site.
- Assist special projects department with heavier construction as needed such as concrete, framing, roofing, etc.
Skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication with residents and management
- Basic understanding of drywall, electrical, plumbing, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength. Must be able to lift/carry over 75 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail
