PIMS is Hiring a Receiving Associate Near Lincoln, NJ
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks
- Inspect packages to ensure they are in acceptable quality condition
- Verify packages according to purchase orders to ensure part numbers and quantities match
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments
- Communicate and coordinate with appropriate Buyers for product returns
- Utilize cell phones, RF scanners, and other technology necessary to process inbound shipments, including sending photos and emails to the account management team
- Label all packages and allocate them to their designated warehouse locations
- Ensure all aisles and docks are kept clear
- Maintain a safe work environment by following company procedures and safety regulations
- Ensure all incoming orders are verified and counted within a 48-hour time frame
- React accordingly to rush incoming orders
- Experience in a production or warehouse operation or the willingness to learn
- Dependable, detail-oriented, consistent in overachieving, and driven to exceed customer expectations
