The Pima County Health Department is looking for the right individual to lead the newly created Office of Injury and Violence Prevention Program. This position will work closely with the Department Director, Deputy Director for Programming and Development, and various divisions to ensure that appropriate surveillance of intentional and non-intentional injury-related morbidity and mortality (emphasizing surveillance of drug misuse, firearm safety, and self-injury) occurs. Some duties will include producing reports, dashboards, and culturally appropriate health education and health promotion resources. The selected candidate will be expected to collaborate with and convene other agencies and community partners to develop approaches and plans for addressing intentional and non-intentional injury.Full Time
