PILF Restaurant Group is Hiring an In-House Event Manager Near Fort Worth, TX

The In-House Event Manager will generate revenue for all restaurants at PILF Restaurant Group through corporate and social functions, as well as community outreach opportunities. This role will work closely with the store managers to sell, coordinate, and oversee the successful execution of all in-house events.

Duties/Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to leads in Tripleseat as well as guests who reach out to the restaurants to inquire about in-house private and semi-private events. Response time should be within 24 hours of the original lead/inquiry. Event bookings are defined as groups of 30 or more with a signed contract, a fully booked private dining space, or a full restaurant buyout.
  • Stay in regular contact with guests throughout the entire planning process.
  • This position is expected to cold call and solicit new business through their own book of business, networking, and new business development
  • Plan the event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives. Place calls to Guests when needed and accurately account for all information provided, including confirming event details
  • Complete all guest site visits, and tastings, and come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
  • Coordinate all operations of in-house and community outreach events.
  • Attend and supervise all aspects of events when needed.
  • Review all aspects of the event with the store managers 1 week before the event and the day before to ensure they are set up.
  • Ensure the event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
  • Meet and or exceed set monthly/quarterly/ annual sales budgets.
  • Assist restaurant General Managers with setting up monthly community outreach events
  • Assist with off-site catering events as needed.
  • Perform additional duties that ensure all aspects of service from planning to execution of events

Working Schedule

Working weekends is part of a normal work week and is dependent on the type of business in-house. Days off may change from week to week. This position must cover events when requested, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Restaurant and Event Operations
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
  • Computer Skills
  • The ability to see tasks through to completion or through to event execution
  • Must exhibit an excellent service attitude and be willing to go out of their way to accommodate the guests and exceed their expectations.
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to meet the changing needs of guests.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to serve in a self-directed role
  • Travel – 75% throughout DFW Metroplex
  • Adherence to company core values

Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to communicate clearly, move, and remain in a stationary position. This position must occasionally transport and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position must regularly be able to detect, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, inspect, estimate, observe, and assess items, information, and objects in an office or remote office setting; or restaurant environment.
