Located downstairs at Waikiki Market, our new local-style restaurant and bar will be a welcoming place to enjoy familiar comfort food, drinks and good times with friends.

We are looking for Bussers to join our Piko Kitchen Bar team!

Bussers are esponsible for serving patrons by setting tables, keeping water glasses full; adhering to sanitation and safety policies. This position conducts routine table maintenance; removing plates, glassware, silverware, and debris. Bussers assist with organizing food orders in the kitchen and delivering it directly to guests and maintain cleanliness of dining room and bar area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and resetting tables.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the dining room; sweeping & mopping floors, polishing woodworks, dusting curtains, and cleaning the windows.
• Maintains a sense of urgency throughout service, both during slow and busy periods.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must possess a strong dedication toward learning and motivation to progress in restaurant dining environment.
• Possess effective communication skills, positive attitude, and professionalism
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs; stack of dishes, racks of glassware, carry trays
• Standing and walking up to 8 hours without periodic breaks
• Maintain a sense of urgency and takes initiative
• Must be impeccably groomed, maintain good hygiene, good posture and have required uniform and tools.
• Responsive to constructive feedback from Chefs, Managers or staff.
• Must possess a recent TB Clearance.
