Located downstairs at Waikiki Market, our new local-style restaurant and bar will be a welcoming place to enjoy familiar comfort food, drinks and good times with friends.
We are looking for *Bussers *to join our Piko Kitchen Bar team!
Bussers are esponsible for serving patrons by setting tables, keeping water glasses full; adhering to sanitation and safety policies. This position conducts routine table maintenance; removing plates, glassware, silverware, and debris. Bussers assist with organizing food orders in the kitchen and delivering it directly to guests and maintain cleanliness of dining room and bar area.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
* Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
* Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and resetting tables.
* Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
* Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the dining room; sweeping & mopping floors, polishing woodworks, dusting curtains, and cleaning the windows.
* Maintains a sense of urgency throughout service, both during slow and busy periods.
*Qualifications:*
* Applicants must possess a strong dedication toward learning and motivation to progress in restaurant dining environment.
* Possess effective communication skills, positive attitude, and professionalism
* Ability to lift up to 25lbs; stack of dishes, racks of glassware, carry trays
* Standing and walking up to 8 hours without periodic breaks
* Maintain a sense of urgency and takes initiative
* Must be impeccably groomed, maintain good hygiene, good posture and have required uniform and tools.
* Responsive to constructive feedback from Chefs, Managers or staff.
* Must possess a recent TB Clearance.
