Job: Senior Accountant

Our newly founded Tacoma-based privately held healthcare services client is growing and seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting team. The ideal candidate is ambitious, eager to learn, a team player who can also work well independently, and has a strong self-starter mentality. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in cash flow, prepare forecasts, and support tax compliance.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any business related field; CPA preferred
• 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency in NetSuite accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in professional services industry is beneficial.

Hybrid work schedule, 3 days on-site; fully on-site for training. Base salary up to $90,000, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k retirement plans, and accrued PTO/sick policy.
