PIERPONT INN is Hiring a Front Desk/Night Auditor Near Ventura, CA
The Pierpont Inn is currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to work as a Front Desk Agent and/or Night Auditor. This position involves working rotating shifts, 2-3 days, 3 PM - 1 PM & 1-2 days, 10 PM - 6 AM. In this position you will help us craft inspired workplaces that enable all team members to deliver unique guest experiences and maximize hotel revenues! Your Responsibilities:
- Passion for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay
- Maximize revenues and occupancy
- Create a positive team-oriented environment focused on the guest
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Flexibility- must anticipate regularly scheduled weekend and evening hours
- Assist with the Sales and Marketing efforts
- Ability to interact with others in an honest, fair and respectful way; giving others confidence in you and the organization
- Set high standards of performance for self and others; assume responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks in education and experience
- Check in guests, answer phones, and take reservations
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Process invoices, post checks to vendors.
- Reconcile accounts
- Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Help prepare for forecasts and audits
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in Hotel guest services, front desk, housekeeping.
Job Type: Rotating Shifts, AM, PM & Overnight Shifts.
Experience:

- 30- 40 (Preferred)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
