We are seeking a talented and organized baker. As our baker, you will prepare a variety of baked goods. You will follow existing recipes and prepare large quantities of cakes and pies. You will also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning all baking equipment.
Baker Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow existing recipes
- Measure, weigh and prepare ingredients
- Knead, roll, cut, and prepare dough as needed
- Monitor oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machines, and other baking equipment
- Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment meet all health and safety standards
- Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools
- Monitor items during baking
- Decorate, glaze, apply icing, and prepare toppings for baked goods
- Evaluate ingredients and food for quality
- Operate slicing, cutting, and wrapping equipment
Starting pay ranges from $15/hr to $17/hr based on experience. This is a newer position and has room to grow for the right person!
