Pierce County Security/Pacific Coast Security is Hiring a Security Officer (Professional) Near Renton, WA
Seeking well qualified Unarmed Security Officer. Must be Experienced with Strong Customer Service Skills, and de-escalating skills.
Pay and Benefits:
- We pay your guard license fee, contingent on 90 days of employment
- Security Officer $23 /hr.
- Lead Officer $24/hr.
- Paid Training provided
- Paid time off for personal reasons (such as illness or vacation)
- Medical for full-time employees
- Uniforms provided
Pierce County Security (PCS), also doing business as Pacific Coast Security, has been in business since 1927 providing security services throughout Western Washington.
Security Officers Responsibilities:
- Control access to the client's facility
- Able to walk for foot patrol as well
- Patrol client facilities on foot
- Deter intrusion, theft and vandalism
- Watch for fire and flood and other hazards
- Assist employees and visitors
- Write reports of daily/nightly activities and incidents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong De-escalating skills
- Washington State Security Guard License, we provide training for this
- Security or security related experience is preferred, but not required
- Customer service/relations
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Basic computer skills
