Job Description
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson.
Our scenic campus is located in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System (VCCS).
PVCC is accepting applications for a part-time cataloging / acquisitions assistant . The hours are Monday through Friday, 1 p.
m. to 5 p.m., in person. This position is part time, with no benefits, and does not exceed 29 hours / week.
This is not a remote position.
Duties :
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's / Required Qualifications
Additional Considerations
Experience in a community college or higher education setting
Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel minimal
