Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team at a Event Venue that will involve Weddings and Corporate events. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio visual equipment. Your expertise in field service, electrical work, cabling, and computer hardware will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of audio visual systems.

Duties:
- Install and set up audio visual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing systems

-Be able to customize templates (lights and audio) and unique presentations based on client's needs.

-Supervise the systems during events and keep tabs on third party vendors using our equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on audio visual equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their audio visual needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Assist in the design and implementation of audio visual systems
- Ensure all equipment is properly connected and functioning correctly
- Test and calibrate audio visual equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of field service principles and practices

-Must be able to learn and be fully trained on our systems and software.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring and circuitry
- Familiarity with cabling standards and techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and setup
- Excellent understanding of computer hardware and software related to audio visual systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus
- Experience in telecommunication systems is a plus
